English translation

1. I have trusted in the Lord, I have given Him my heart; He has committed to keep me safe, I love Him for this. His death brings me comfort, His love brings me joy.

2. I have turned away from the world, I have distanced myself from it; Come, Jesus, build in me Day by day. His death brings me comfort, His love brings me strength.

3. I have committed to the Lord, He is my blessing; I am a refuge, I have everything in Him. His death brings me comfort, His love brings me support.

4. My message to this land Is that I love Jesus, And to inform my people Of the joy found in Him. His death brings me comfort, His love brings me peace.
