This policy covers both the Difela Tsa Sione mobile app and this website. The mobile app is designed to work offline and does not send personal data to any server. This website (which lets you read and search the hymns online) is supported by advertising and uses cookies as described below.

Data we collect

• No account or personal data: We do not ask you to register, and we do not collect personally identifiable information (name, email, phone, etc.) on our own servers.
• Local device data: The app and website store preferences and bookmarks on your own device (local storage). This stays on your device unless you explicitly export or share it.
• Advertising & cookies (website only): When you browse this website, our advertising partner Google may set cookies or read device identifiers to serve and measure ads. See “Advertising, cookies & consent” below.

How we use data

Local preferences and bookmarks are used only to provide app functionality (restore last viewed hymn, favorites, settings). No user data is used for profiling or advertising.

Third-party services

The mobile app integrates no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. This website uses Google AdSense to display advertising, and Supabase to deliver hymn content. These providers may process limited technical data (such as your IP address and cookies) as described in their own privacy policies, linked below.

Permissions

The app requests only the permissions required for its core features. This release does not request contact, location, camera, or microphone permissions. Any optional permission will be explained at the point of use.

Data retention & exports

Local data remains on the device until the user deletes the app or removes data via the app. If an export feature exists, exported files are created and managed by the user.

Security

We follow standard best practices for local data storage. Users are responsible for securing their device. The developer does not have remote access to on-device data.

Children

The app is not intended for children under 3. We do not knowingly collect information from children; if discovered, it will be removed promptly.
